Well again this week it was a trip to the W-S-Mare beach.

The pasture land is dry as a bone and its just not possible to detect properly and also very difficult to ensure a satisfactory repair to the area dug.

So its was off to the beach to see how the Deus would handle the task.

Having used many detectors over the years I had my fingers crossed, but as it turned out I had nothing to worry about.

If anything the Deus using Alains preset programme was near perfect and plenty of coins came out and also a few other bits and pieces

We only stayed for 3 hours but in that time different coin readings were consistant ie 1 at number 85 etc etc with other ones.

The machine did not chatter and was very stable also a joy to swing.

All bodes well for the future for the Deus as its already proved itself inland with Gold.Silver and many others materials coming to light. Wink :)Jerry.

Thanks for the info Jerry, I was concerned at some of the negative reports about the Deus on the beach. Haven't had the opportunity to try it out on the sand yet..... But I will.

I think Alain's team have been pretty spot on with the factory programs so far. Glad to hear Beach is the same.

Cheers,

Wet, damp and dry its was no problem.

I did not try it on water covered sand and did not let it kiss the wet sand surface.

I hope this helps.Jerry.
