Yesterday we dug up our buried hoard test!  Cry

The reason being is that there were complaints about the wind noise/sound quality (we have now invested in a new video camera!  Shocked ) and, sadly, there were accusations that it was fixed and the settings maxxed out.

This is NOT the case with either.

The settings we used are with the POWER (Gain) on 4 with a good dose of discrimination on (knocks out an deep buried iron horshose) and SENSITIVITY (Threshold) on about 5.

We used the Blisstool LTC x64 V3 with 11" (standard) and 15" coils so you can see the differences.

If you think the machine isn't achieving much then try it with YOUR machine.........1kg of mixed coins at a measured depth of at least 24".  The Bliss not only slams it with a loud repeatable signal but also does it with the same settings to knock out a rusty horse shoe. I don't know ANY other machine that can do that.'s worth watching as it sets the detecting standard.

Bob - this is one of the few Blisstool threads on detecting forums that hasn't been locked due to members abusing each other.

Why do people get so worked up about new detectors that don't come from the usual few manufacturers?
